Technical colleges generally get a bad rap. To overcome this negativity, MATC came to us asking how they could appear to be more like a four-year school. After a lot of research and interviewing faculty, students and grads, we discovered that a lot of people have no need for typical college. Although society tends to put grads from fancy universities on a pedestal, there are ton of great paying, life enhancing jobs to be had with a technical school degree. So then the task became twofold… remove the stigma of going to a technical college and embrace those who knew what they wanted in life and were intelligent enough to know the right path to get there. We had to Redefine Smart.
