Eisner Museum Fashion Show

The first phase of this project involved printing posters of clothes, putting them on hangers and placing them in area boutiques with a ‘sale’ tag attached to announce the event. The second phase was clearly a case of ‘It’s better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.’ Weeks before the show, we scouted and photographed objects that could be made to look like dresses. We then shot models wearing dresses that looked like those objects, printed posters and placed them accordingly the day of the show. The local retail association demanded that we pull them down… a day after the damage/advertising had been done.
