COVID-19 hit Wisconsin’s small businesses hard. As the heart of our economy and soul of our communities, we envisioned a campaign that not only reminded people to support local businesses but also provided tips on how to simply and safely do it. Using playful illustrations, our messages projected positivity and stood out from the gloom and doom that was prominent in the media at the time. TV, out of home, display and social were used to get the word out. We even created a one-of-a-kind Shout Out Generator that allowed local residents to show their love for the local businesses they love.
